Art: “Beyond,” 2023, Mixed Media on Paper, 8 in x 7 in

One of my objectives was to challenge conventional perceptions of color, which I achieved by diverging from the source material’s color palette. I explored depth and dimension using primary colors and varying values. Under a black and white filter, the piece takes on a new dimensions, seemingly replicating a normal range of colors. It allows viewers to question that’s beyond the surface, and discover hidden layers within the artwork.
